Banana & Berries

"I loathe narcissism, but I approve of vanity."
- Diana Vreeland

I've always been confident and daring when it comes to my outfits, I'm not afraid to take risks, I'm not afraid to stand out. I love wearing bold outfits, mixing textures and prints, but most of all I lovee mixing colours. So seizing the opportunity of the good weather in London, of recent, I decided to feature a daring and bold outfit once again.

Usually I'd colour block with two different colours, but this time round I decided to go for three. I teamed purple with pink and yellow, to create this head-turning outfit. A purple deep  cut long-sleeve bodysuit, with pink tailored trousers and a yellow duster, were complemented with black perspex heeled mules and a simple black and gold cross-body bag. I finished off the look with purple cat-eyed sunglasses and a dash of rich purple lipstick from Mac Cosmetics. Sexy, bold and bright... just the way I like my outfits.

Pink Tropic

"Clothes ares like a good meal, a good movie, great pieces of music."
- Michael Kors

Pretty Little Thing have been killing it with the tropical prints of late; offering bold mixes in a variety of textures. It's really got me excited for the Summer time fashion and I can't wait to shop more pieces from the brand... just a few more, maybe one or two (ha ha!).

One of my favourite tropical prints from Pretty Little Thing is this pink and green palm mix. With plenty of pieces to chose from, I decided to go for this cropped deep cut wrapped top, as I knew it would go well with my baby pink blazer from H&M. I styled the duo with a green cross body bag and white high waist skinny jeans, both from Topshop. I finished off the look with pink faux fur and perspex heels from Hidden Fashion.

Tangerine & Cobalt

"Crying is for plain women. Pretty women go shopping."
- Oscar Wilde

I've built up a little bit of a reputation as a colour block lover, surprisingly with some of my blogger friends referring to me as the 'Colour Block Queen'. Not wanting to be dethroned, I decided to put together another colour block outfit, featuring two colours I've long loved; Cobalt Blue and Dark Orange. I decided to keep the pieces simple, so the focus is primarily on the colours, as oppose to anything else.

I opted for this cool long-line tie-front kimono from Boohoo, teaming it with skinny fit trousers from Primark and a matching studded bag from MissPap. I finished off the look with my favourite perspex heels fro Ego Official and a pretty layered necklace from Pretty Little Thing.

Dark Paradise

"Women who wear black lead colourful lives."
- Neiman Marcus

I've been featuring a number of striped looks, so it's about time I showed you all that there are other prints that I also like... like floral. You many have read in one of my recent posts, that I wasn't always a fan of the print, due to my mum decking out the family home with floral vomit in the 1990s. However, much has changed and floral has for a long while been one of my favourite prints. So when I came across this cute co-ord set on Boohoo, I decided to get it.

I decided to team up the set with a black sweetheart neckline bracket, that I've had for a few years now (also from Boohoo). I finished off the look with some pretty gold pieces; a gold bag from Mango and a gold cross chain belt from Pretty Little Thing. I finished off the look with bold but pretty pink lipstick and over-sized sunglasses, to block out the sun.

Double Lines

"I like my money right where I can see it: hanging in my closet."
- Carrie Bradshaw

Usually when people tell me I shop too much and I wear pieces only once or twice, I laugh. However, of late those comments have become my reality. I found myself constantly online looking for pieces to add to my ridiculously full wardrobe; be it a new blazer or a sexy little dress. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to buy something every now and then... but I found myself buying things that I seriously didn't need and would hardly ever wear... just because they looked pretty.

So I decided to take a step back and reevaluate my choices, I needed to make a change and that started with appreciating and loving the things I already own. So I dug out a few pieces from my wardrobe that I had bought ages ago (but have not yet featured on the blog) and decided to put an outfit together, here it is...

As you know I've been loving the stripes trend for a little while now, so I thought I'd feature another look. Instead of going for my usual bold vibrant colours, I opted for more muted tones; teaming up Navy, White and Tan. The contrasting stripes and the matching colours worked well together. I finished off the look with cool sunglasses from Missguided and a tan bag from Misspap, which highlighted the predominant colour of the outfit.

Saucy Mustard

"Fashion is what you're offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose."
- Lauren Hutton

The sun was out today, so I decided to seize the opportunity and take some photos in my new favourite duster. Yellow has long been one of my favourite colours, especially mustard yellow. So when I spotted this duster on Boohoo.com I didn't hesitate in adding it to my basket. I knew there were 101 things, if not more, that I could team the beauty with, especially my cross body bag (in the same hue) from Mango.

I decided to team up the pair with monochrome, simple black and white separates, to enable all the focus and attention to be on the bright mustard beauty. I wore high waisted jeans from Topshop with a deep cut wrap bodysuit from Pretty Little Thing. I finished off the look with black and white fringed heels from Shein, which tied in the different colours of the outfit.

Candy Cane

"The joy of dressing is an art."
- John Galliano

I'd been eyeing this co-ord from Zara for a while, but wasn't sure whether I should buy it, as of recent I've been overindulging. However, at such a bargain I  gave in and bought the set, instantly thinking of the many ways in which I could style it.

I kept things simple, since the print is both bold and bright. I teamed the set with a simple white vest top from H&M and white heeled barely-there heels from Zara. I decided to glam up the look with my gold Michael Kors bag and chic red cat-eyed sunglasses from Forever 21. I finished off the look with red lipstick and contrasting blue nails.
