I've built up a little bit of a reputation as a colour block lover, surprisingly with some of my blogger friends referring to me as the 'Colour Block Queen'. Not wanting to be dethroned, I decided to put together another colour block outfit, featuring two colours I've long loved; Cobalt Blue and Dark Orange. I decided to keep the pieces simple, so the focus is primarily on the colours, as oppose to anything else.

I opted for this cool long-line tie-front kimono from Boohoo, teaming it with skinny fit trousers from Primark and a matching studded bag from MissPap. I finished off the look with my favourite perspex heels fro Ego Official and a pretty layered necklace from Pretty Little Thing.

Usually when people tell me I shop too much and I wear pieces only once or twice, I laugh. However, of late those comments have become my reality. I found myself constantly online looking for pieces to add to my ridiculously full wardrobe; be it a new blazer or a sexy little dress. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to buy something every now and then... but I found myself buying things that I seriously didn't need and would hardly ever wear... just because they looked pretty.

So I decided to take a step back and reevaluate my choices, I needed to make a change and that started with appreciating and loving the things I already own. So I dug out a few pieces from my wardrobe that I had bought ages ago (but have not yet featured on the blog) and decided to put an outfit together, here it is...

As you know I've been loving the stripes trend for a little while now, so I thought I'd feature another look. Instead of going for my usual bold vibrant colours, I opted for more muted tones; teaming up Navy, White and Tan. The contrasting stripes and the matching colours worked well together. I finished off the look with cool sunglasses from Missguided and a tan bag from Misspap, which highlighted the predominant colour of the outfit.

Some days I love to dress up all fancy, put on killer high heels and strut my stuff... yes, for no reason at all, other than I just feel like it. Other days I prefer to dress casual, well with a little edge. Wear something trendy but cool, nothing to fussy, but still a little cute. This outfit was put together on one of those casual yet cool days.

I decided to take a break from my ordinarily dressy looks and went for something a little more laid back. I kept the colour scheme as simple as the outfit, wearing only black and white. However, I  knew I had to give my outfit a little but of an edge, jazz it up so to say, so I got out my favourite ankle boots (of the moment), courtesy of Hidden Fashion.

I teamed the boots up with a black faux leather biker jacket from Zara, a ripped denim mini skirt from Missguided, a studded bucket bag from Zara and a cool t-shirt from Misspap. I finished off the look with cool retro sunglasses from Pretty Little Thing and a dash of red lipstick from my usual place, Mac Cosmetics. The icing on the cake; a whole lot of attitude and a pinch of sass.

Who said you ave to wear boring clothes in Winter?! If anything, Winter is the perfect time to wear the most outrageous of outfits; bright colours, bold prints and a combination of textures. If people stare... you've done it right. It's dull and grey out there, that doesn't mean that your outfit has to follow suit.

As most of my friends and family know, I love wearing bright colours, I love standing out... I don't like blending in and looking like everyone else... how boring. Don't get me wrong, occasionally I wear neutral earthy colours (off course I jazz such outfits up), but more than anything, bright bold colours make me feel good and put me in a positive frame of mind.

Gucci SS 2011- Colour Blocking

So as another dull and miserable day showed is ugly face, I decide to wear this a bright and bold  outfit. I took my inspiration from Gucci's 2011 campaign, which saw models strut the catwalk in colour blocked outfits and gold. I particularly liked the orange and purple combinations and decided to use those colours for my outfit.

For ages I had been looking for the perfect bag to go with my Misguided orange jumper dress and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and detail of this stunner, which I found on the Miss Pap website. I decide to team up the combo with these fierce Indigo thing high boots, from Lotd.com.  To finish off the look I added simple gold jewellery and a bold purple lip, courtesy of Mac Cosmetics.

How I'd been hunting for these joggers ever since I spotted them sold out online and finally I managed to find them on Miss Pap, a website I hadn't really been aware of and now in love with. I decided to go for a grunge urban look and kept the outfit cool with a ripped distressed long-line denim jacket, a black cropped top, simple black heels and plenty of attitude. What better way to finish the look, than with a faux leather clutch, maatching cap and killer black lipstick.

I love the neutral trend that is going on at the moment, so decided to incorporate the colour in my wardrobe... here is my first outfit incorporating the new 'It' shade. I decided to go for a luxurious look; teaming rich navy with fur, leopard print and plenty of gold. I finished off the look with my signature floppy hat.
