Grey Clouds

"Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak."
- Rachel Zoe

So with all the colourful outfits I've been featuring of late, I thought I'd change things up a bit... bring you something a little more muted, but stylish enough to pack a punch. Continuing with my love for faux fur, I decided to team up this cool faux fur bomber jacket from Zara, with a simple grey wrap dress from H&M (old). To give the outfit a bit of an edgy yet mysterious look, I added this black and faux leather fedora hat from River Island (sold out, but alternative here), cool H&M point perspex heels (old) and finished the look off with my favourite Michael Koors arm candy.

I've long lusted after jumper dresses, but never got round to finding the perfect one for me. That was until I came across this cream split arm beauty from Missguided. Soft, warm and stylish, I decided to pair the dress with my blue velvet over the knee boots from Public Desire and a blue faux fur jacket from Forever 21. I finished off the look with a mustard cross-body bag from Mango and simple jewellery.

Loud

"What I've done, Coco Chanel would never have done. She would have hated it."
- Karl Lagerfeld

I can't remember who said this, but I basically live by it now, well ever since I decided to have purple hair: 'People will stare. Make it worth their while.' and that is exactly what I've done with this OTT. outfit.

Yes, this outfit is literally over the top ('OTT'). Gone are the days of muted tones, neutrals and all black, well, for now anyway. Purple hair has given me a new found confidence.  I was never really shy when it came to colours, but I was't one to be OTT.. if I was going to wear a bright colour I'd typically limited it to one piece, but with this outfit I went full on colour.

I teamed up this oversized sweater from H&M (sold out online, available in store) with a green faux fur scarf from ASOS and a green tube midi skirt (old) from Topshop. I finished off the look with funny pink oversized sunglasses from ASOS and perspex heeled sandals from Public Desire... I guess you can say those colour shy days are ling in the past.

Golden Sky

"I loathe narcism, but I approve of vanity."
- Diana Vreeland

Last year there was this amazing pink faux fur coat that I spotted advertised on the H&M website, but it was not yet available for sale. A few days later, I went to the website to discover the coat was on sale but sold out in my size, I'm not exaggerating when I say I was distraught. At the time I remember telling myself that I had just missed out on the coat of my dreams. I remember seeing all these bloggers sporting the coat on Instagram (all Winter long), the envy grew, however I eventually got over it.

Well this year H&M released the coat again, this time in baby blue... and let me tell you, I was even more in love with it than I was with the pink one. I couldn't believe it was available in my size, so with my birthday discount code, I snapped it up sharpish. I was so happy with it when it arrived in the post the next day. I must say, it has been my best purchase this season.

I love the colour so much I decided to put together an outfit with purely that colour and feature it on the blog. I teamed the coat with a deep cut bodysuit (sold out) from Pretty Little Thing, trousers from Zara (old) and added a bit of shine with Gold heeled sandals (similar here) from ASOS and a matching bag (sold out) from Missguided.

Afternoon Tease

"You either know fashion or you don't."
- Anna Wintour

All change... I swapped my cool black blunt bob for a trendy vibrant purple bob. What better way to make a statement than to team my new do with a power colour combination: Yellow and Black. With this outfit I wanted to go for a cool smart causal look (yep, all three), something very co-ordinated, simple yet striking at the same time.

I decided to team this cool yellow tailored coat from Zara (old), with a black faux leather pencil skirt (similar here) and a black faux leather grab bag, both also from Zara, with simple point heels and this super cool printed t-shirt which ties together the colours of the outfit. Get one yourself from I Saw It First.

Blue x Monochrome

"Fashion is what you're offered four time a year by designers. And style is what you choose."
-Lauren Hutton

First of all I have to say, forget Summer, I'm a big fan of Autumn...simply because of the fashion. I'd rather wear killers boots and amazing faux fur coats, with cool hats... instead of mini skirts and crop tops. Autumn has long been my favourite time of the year and over the next few months you'll see exactly why.

Well, I've been telling everyone that I'm going to put together a list of top faux fur coats to buy, but I thought before doing so I'd feature one more faux fur coat outfit. I promise.. the list is coming really soon. With this outfit, I went for this great new addition of mine, this three tone faux fur coat from... wait for it... yep, you won't believe it... none other than... Shein! Yep, I told you that you wouldn't believe me. How amazing is it?! When you find out the price you'll be over to the website as fast as the speed of light.

I paired up the coat with a simple black basic jersey fitted dresss from H&M, a wardrobe staple of mine. I teamed the outfit with these sexy boots from Hidden Fashion, which you'll be happy to know are now half price on sale. I finished the look with cool sunglasses and a faux fur crosss body bag from Zara (old). How else do I turn basic to glam? none other than red lipstick and a matching manicure. And there you have it, my a little bit of glam in South London.
