Black 'n' Grey Fringing

"The joy of dressing is an art."
- John Galliano

It's getting cold outside, time to wrap up warm and what better way to do so than in a trendy and snug blanket wrap. I teamed up my black floppy felt hat with this warm blanket wrap from New Look. I kept the ensemble casual and comfy with grey skinny jeans and a plain thin knit top. The fringing on the ankle boots complemented that of the wrap and brought the look nicely together. It appears that this large durable bag from Zara is out of stock in black, but fear not they still have it in a dark tan shade.

Styling: Orange Multi

This is the second time I've worked with my friend Rebecca to put together a look. Again, she wanted to go for a smart casual look with a pop of colour, but she was on a budget. So where else to go than a place that is purse friendly and always up to date with the latest fashion trends... Primark. We picked up these funky loose fit trousers first and then looked for things that would complement them.We came across these hot black heels and this tangy orange top, which happens to have gold chain straps. We made the outfit a little formal with a black fitted blazer (her own) and finished off with simple gold jewellery.

Grey's Blue

"Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It's not about brands. It's about something else that comes from within you."
- Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren said exactly what I was thinking when I put this inexpensive outfit together. It's not quite Winter yet, so I'm making the most of this 'sweater but no coat' weather they call Autumn. As you may have gathered from my previous posts, I really do love floppy hats. So when I spotted this cobalt blue one in H&M I decided it had to come home with me; I've got  plenty of things it looks great with. Starting with my trusty cobalt blue bag, that I purchased from Zara a few seasons back. I teamed up the cobalt duo with a plain oversized thin knit jumper and matching skinny jeans. I finished off the look with these sexy grey heels and a statement necklace, that brought both colours of the outfit together nicely.

Camel n Leopard

"Girls do not dress for boys. They dress for themselves, and of course, each other. If girls dressed for boys, they'd walk around naked at all times."
- Betsy Johnson

No Winter wardrobe is complete without a timeless camel wool coat and this smart one from Zara ticks all the right boxes for me. I teamed up my coat with my favourite print...leopard print. I've had these boots for 2 years now (sorry no longer available ladies) and I love them as much as I did the first day I saw them in Dune. I worked on the complementary colours of the boots and coat, adding black leggings, a cream blouse and a black structured handbag. I finished off the look with this amazing faux fur stole from Zara.

Styling: Feminine Camouflage

So this is just the start of the styling posts that will be featured on the blog. I'll be styling both the ladies and the guys, working with their wardrobe and adding additional high-street pieces. This week I styled my friend Rebecca, we worked with her existing wardrobe, incorporating the current military/khaki trend. We decided to go for a everyday casual laid back look.

Rebecca wanted to go for a casual military look with a feminine touch, so we teamed up a camouflage sleeveless jacket with a white crisp shirt and a khaki skater skirt. For finishing touches we added sexy black heeled sandals, a black large leather clutch bag and military essential aviator sunglasses.
