'Women who wear black lead colourful lives'
- Neiman Marcus

Sometimes the stresses and pressures of everyday life can get on top of us; whether it's unbelievable demands at work, sulking children at home, tight deadlines at school... oh the list goes on. One way I've learnt to deal with it all is by making time for myself; to reflect and do things I both enjoy and love.

My blog allows me to express myself both verbally and visually through my style, to say what I'm thinking and feeling through my attire, my very own style. Turning a dark day into something beautiful and productive.

How do you cope with the pressures or every day life?

Neutral Fur

So here it is,  the last of my Winter looks. The weather is warming up at long last. I decided to keep things calm, no black and no bold colours... just mutual cool tones, simple. I teamed up my favourite accessory, this felt floppy hat with a cream faux fur gilet and a matching roll neck long sleeve top. I kept  the look casual with blue stone wash jeans and tan ankle boots.

How I'd been hunting for these joggers ever since I spotted them sold out online and finally I managed to find them on Miss Pap, a website I hadn't really been aware of and now in love with. I decided to go for a grunge urban look and kept the outfit cool with a ripped distressed long-line denim jacket, a black cropped top, simple black heels and plenty of attitude. What better way to finish the look, than with a faux leather clutch, maatching cap and killer black lipstick.

Red's Blue

'Fashion is the armour to survive the reality of everyday life.'
- Bill Cunningham

So it's not exactly warm over here in London, but neither is it cold; it's pretty mild. I just couldn't wait to showcase my new shoes, so I braved the weather and featured this outfit a little earlier than planned. I kept the focus on my shoes and decided to make the theme be centred around it; donning all the colours of the shoes -  two shades of blue and red. I finished off to look with simple jewellery and my favourite Versace sunglasses.
