Grey... boring? No way!!!

I love grey particularly the way it works with a wide variety of colours and prints. So when people say grey is a boring and dull colour I'm taken aback and disappointed. Though grey is certainly not as bold and bright as yellow or pink, it can be made to look just as amazing. I decided to put together a grey outfit to show critics how far from the truth their thoughts on grey really are. I've paired my fluffy grey crop 3/4 length jumper with grey Leigh skinny jeans (read my review on Topshop Leigh Skinny Jeans here), added a black faux leather oversized clutch, leopard print platform shoes and a statement necklace to bring the look together nicely. I really love the contrast of textures with the top, bringing together denim leather and pony hair. Still think grey is boring?

Leopard Print and Studs

If there's two trends I love teaming together it has to be leopard print and studs/spikes. When the two come together in one outfit, whether the outfit be casual or glamorous, the wearer just looks fierce sexy and confident. Today I decided to be just that; I teamed a plain black cotton t-shirt with a statement leopard print skater skirt, open toe ankle boots (see my review on these bad boys) and a stuffed belt and matching bag. I decided to keep my jewellery minimal as the belt and bag done all the talking.

Inspired to wear: Double Denim

So it was a lovely afternoon and I'd organised to meet up with the ladies for a bite to eat after work. I wanted to look casual but trendy and decided to go for a look that one of my fashion icons had recently sported; sexy double denim. Yes, a few months ago Rihanna made double denim look so sexy I decided it was about time I took a leaf out of her book and done the same.

Here's what I wore:

Shirt - H&M
Crop Top - Topshop
Skirt - River Island
Bag - Marc B
Shoes - Fashion Union

After an entire day in my heels I decided to put on my slat sandals for the commute home.

The New 'IT' Shoe from Zara

I recently went on the Zara website to purchase some items from the Sale and came across some shoes that I just had to get. As soon as I saw them I knew they were the shoes for me and would compliment so many things in my wardrobe. Just like Zara's multi-colour lace ups (see my previous post on this), I suspect they are going to be a hit with Bloggers and Fashion magazines alike.

Last season Zara had a similar pair in Leopard print and they flew of the shelves in super speed, so I weren't taking any chances with these bad boys. Though the Leopard print pair went complimented a lot of different looks, I suspect the black leather pair will go with so much more.

The shoes are very comfortable, though I must admit I've only worn them around the house and are yet to year them out. I think they're look great with a graphic print top, ripped boyfriend jeans and a leather jacket. Alternatively I'd wear them with my leather peplum top and skinny jeans. Oh just so many outfits these bad boys would go with, my list can go on and on.

To get you hands on these bad boys visit the Zara website whilst they're still in stock. Good luck!!
