'Style; all who have it have one thing; originality.'
- Diana Vreeland

One thing I love most about my style is that it's completely unique. I'm not trying to look like anyone; not a celebrity nor a super model, just myself, Rita. And that's exactly what I done with this outfit. From an usual colour combination, to contrasting textures, I put together pieces that wouldn't usually work, made it my own.

'Fashion somehow, for me, is purely and happily irrational.'
- Hedi Slimane

When I spotted this top on the H&M website a few weeks back, I didn't even take time to think about whether I needed it or not, at £19.99 it went straight into my basket. As soon as I saw it, it put a smile on my face.... reminding me of my childhood; those fun carefree days, when all was well and my only stress was getting the remote control for the T.V before any of my other siblings. The days when I'd sit all Saturday morning watching Disney channel and Nickelodeon and other kids programme, that would preoccupy my time for hours on end. I had to have it. Then I spotted this bag in the Zara sale, and that was it... my outfit was complete... nothing else mattered, well at least not at that moment in time. Sylvester and Tweety Pie were finally united and I was one happy lady.

'I have always believed that fashion was not only to make women more beautiful, but also to reassure them, give them confidence.'
- Yves Saint Laurent

February is typically a cold month over here in London, but we've been fortunate to have a few mild days of late and so I jumped at the opportunity to feature this full black velvet look, that I would have otherwise had to wait until at least Spring to wear. I'd been waiting ages to feature these amazing black velvet pieces from Boohoo and decided to team them up with these sexy gold heels from ASOS and a matching bag from Missguided. I finished off the look with these chic glasses from River Island and bold red lipstick from Mac.

'When you don't dress like everybody else, you don't have to think like everybody else.'
- Iris Apfel

It's been pretty mild this Winter, to my delight... as much as I love  my big warm coats, I'd much rather wear my Spring or Autumn attire. And that's exactly what I did with this outfit. The sun popped out and the temperature went up a few degrees, yes just a few, but enough for me to get away with ditching my coat and sporting this cool sleeveless cardigan from Forever 21.

I decided to play on the colours of the cardigan, teaming it with a white graphic print tee, faded black skinny jeans, cute black ankle boots, a red fedora hat and my favourite gifted Michael Kors bag. I finished off the look with simple gold jewellery, my staple Versace sunglasses and bold red lipstick from Mac.

'The joy of dressing is an art.'
- John Galliano

So I've been wanting to wear these amazing boots for ages, ever since I got them from Missguided in early January. I teamed up the boots with a sheer monochrome sunflower print top from Zara, a wrap mini skirt and my favourite accessory; a floppy felt hat. I finished off the look with a small crossed body bag, pom poms and simple gold jewellery.
