August was one of my most random months in terms of outfits; I didn't stick to one trend or colour... I just went with the flow and wore whatever I felt like on the day of the shoot. One day I felt like dressing causal and on another day I decided to glam up. August permits such behaviour... the weather is warm and you can just about get away with wearing what you want.

Unfortunately, my schedule didn't allow me to do as many posts as I usually do, but what I did post I liked... and I hope you did too. I promise September will be just as diverse but with many more outfit posts and weekly picks. I've also got a little surprise in store for you... so keep your eyes peeled.

So, it's been a little quiet on the blog for the past week or so and that's because I was extremely busy with work and getting last minute things in place for my trip to Portugal. Since I neglected the blog, I thought it best to let you know what I was up to. So from now on as well as fashion I'll be keeping you posted on my adventures... showing you where I went and more importantly what I wore.

I prefer to visit new places rather than go back to places I've already explored. There's something exciting about exploring the unknown... so I was a little reluctant when I found out my good friend was having her Hen Do in Portugal, a country I visited back in 2013.

However, I decided to go and support her... ensure she had a good time, and I guess from the hangover and amazing pics she certainly did. In fact we all did. Fortunately for me we stayed in an area called Carcavelos, a little parish to the west of Lisbon. With an amazing beach and plenty of great restaurants I was pleased I decided to get involved.

Such a contrast from busy Lisbon, which I visited back in 2013... there was much to do and plenty to see.

So today I ditched the heels and went for something a little more casual, well not just a little... full on. Hey, not everyday high heels and mini skirts. I've always loved camouflage and decided to double up; with a gillet and trainers, I combined the pair with these great khaki ripped skinny jeans from Zara and a white bodysuit from Pretty Little Thing. I finished off the look with a faux leather clutch bag and this cool faux leather cap that I picked up in the ASOS sale. Looks like I'm ready for combat.

The sun was out so I decided to finally wear my pink bodysuit... the bloggers favourite bodysuit of the season from Zara. I just love the design and print, and what's even better is that it is so versatile; from ripper jeans to mini skirts, it goes with just about anything. I decided to wear the bodysuit with a wrapped faux leather white skirt from Missguided, simple white heeled sandals and a perspex cross-body bag from New Look. Oh and how can I forget, my oversized sunglasses to keep out the bright Summer sun.

Although it is Summer the weather has been a little hit and miss this weekend. So I ditched the shorts and skirts, and put on some trousers. In fact I've been wanting to showcase this amazing bodysuit from Zara for a while... how beautiful is it?! The print, the colour... oh it's amazing. I decided to play on the colours; matching the bodysuit with dark orange trousers, a longline black sleeveless blazer, a simple cross body bag and these chic heels from Primark.
