I'm not one for following trends, but I can understand why the Polka Dot trend is hot on the scene right now and why everyone wants in. The timeless classic is one of my favourites, always has been... especially in black and white. So I decided to finally get in on the action and feature a look of my own.

Inspiration - Carolina Herrera

I decided to go for triple polka dot, teaming a large print polka dot skirt from ASOS with a small polka blouse from Missguided and a matching bag from Zara. I finished off the look with cat-eyed sunglasses from Topshop and Gold platform heels from ASOS.

If you haven't figured it out by now, I absolutely love monochrome. I wear these two colours season it season out; all year round. I decided  to finally post this amazing cardigan from Primark up for all to see, teaming it with this luxurious faux fur stole from Zara and funky hat from Catarzi at ASOS. Layering is not a strong skill of mine, but I thought I'd give it a go and if I may say so, I don't think I've done a bad job.

So I hear stripes is one of  the big trends this Spring Summer '15 season, so I pulled out this skirt from my wardrobe and went monochrome from head to toe. I finished off the look with Prada inspired sunglasses and simple gold jewellery.

A couple of posts back I wrote about the Pigalle Exclusive Collection launch I attended at Selfridges. Well, I thought it was only right that I showed you what I wore to the urban event. I weren't urban at all, in fact wearing a shirt under a jumper, in matchy-matchy coloured attire - I looked all prim and proper, nevertheless I liked the outfit - who wants to blend in with everyone else anyway. I decided to stick to one of my favourite colour combinations monochrome, but added some cobalt to make the outfit pop. I finished off the look with some killer high ankle boots and my smart black Michael Kors bag.

Today I decided to jazz up one of my favourite looks, the timeless monochrome - teaming black gridded tailored trousers with a white gridded blazer, both from H&M. I've always been big on prints and clashing different patterns, and think looks like this usually work well where the different prints have colours in common. I pulled together the ensemble by adding accents of gold with my jewellery, bag and heeled sandals

Blazer - H&M
Vest - ASOS
Trousers - H&M
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - Vintage (Portugal)
Sunglasses - Moschino
Chain - Gogo Philip
Watch - DKNY
