Valentines Day Outfits: Pretty, Funky & Sexy

With only 5 days to go until Valentines day, I thought I'd better get a move on and do a post especially for the occasion. I didn't want to stick to the expected sexy look, so I also included what I consider to be pretty and funky looks. I tried to keep away from the cheesy 'red for valentines day' look and allowed myself to only include one red dress.

PRETTY FOR VALENTINES
I love this dress from ASOS. I've actually been wearing a lot of floral of late, in fact I can't get enough of the print, especially monochrome and grey florals - so when I saw this dress on the ASOS website I knew I had to feature it in this post. The lime green is so on trend and brings to life the floral print n the dress. I think shoes jazz up the dress and also matches the bag really well, whilst the necklace adds a sort of 3D feel to the outfit.

FUNKY FOR VALENTINES
I'm all for dressing funky, it's one of my favourite looks. Following the mass can be very boring, it's great to be individual in your attire, I think it says a lot about ones personality. I love this dress from River Island, it's not the expected attire to wear on valentines day, but so what... there shouldn't be an expected attire anyway; all that matters is that you look good. I decided to keep with the colours in the dress, with a orange clutch bag and some sexy black high heels. The chunky gold chain is a signature look of mine and I think it adds a nice finishing touch.

SEXY FOR VALENTINES
From the front this Topshop dress looks pretty but plain, but believe me it is far from - the cutout back makes it oh so sexy. I love peplums and think it add curves to ladies who are quite petite and/or slim. I think the navy works well with leopard print, so I teamed it up with this lovely clutch from Dune and these Philip Armstrong for Matalan heels (you may remember I wore it in my recent post 'Simplicty and Elegance'). I finished off the look with these fab earrings from ASOS, keeping in line with the wild animal theme.
