One thing I love about the colder months is the option to wear faux fur in so many forms, and my favourite of them all is the trusted gilet. I spotted this steal on the SheIn website a few weeks ago, and thought it would be a great addition to my wardrobe and a cool alternative to pink faux fur, something I've unfortunately failed to get my hands on this Winter (knew I should have got that pink faux fur coat I spotted in Zara a couple of months back).
I decided to keep the focus on the red gilet but also add some colour and texture to the outfit, adding black velvet; smooth and crushed, and camel. I teamed a cute floppy felt hat with a deep v bodysuit and ankle boots. I pimped up my crushed velvet cross body bag with a thicker gold chain (which my little sister got me from eBay), broaches from Topshop and H&M, and finally pom poms from H&M in colours to co-ordinate with my outfit.
