In a recent post I told you how much I love Leopard print, so when I came across these beauties when writing up my 25 Purse Friendly Hot Heels post (see here) I decided to purchase them. At just £30 from Boohoo.com it was definitely a bargain.

Ankle strap sandals are so on trend right now, all over the high street and being paraded by many designers on the catwalk. Not just to be work with pretty little dresses, ankle strap sandals go with just about any outfit and can be worn casually or dressed up. I particularly like the way they add a feminine touch to an otherwise masculine outfit, like ripped boyfriend stonewash jeans, white t-shirt and black blazer.

The Cara sandals are very comfortable as they're not to high and the ankle strap is very supportive. I really love the way they have opted for a gold buckle as opposed to silver, as it makes the shoe look more expensive.

The actually leopard print is not as bright and bold as some other leopard print shoes I own, but the subtle print on this sandal doesn't detract from its style. In fact I think being subtle makes for an easier wear as it can be matched to more things.

The strap to the front of the sandal is both soft and wide, which makes it more comfortable for long wears. Though the most comfortable shoes usually have a platform at the front, the heigh of this shoe doesn't require one.

I'm use to very high heels 5"+ so at 4.5" these sandals were easy to walk in. Also as they're not too high they make great use for transition from day to night.
